Day 16
Half way there!!!! Our holiday seems really hectic but it was well paced. We saw a lot but also had free time as well. Today we visited Konigsee and then drove to Innsbruck.
Electric boats take the hoards of tourists on a tour of Lake Konigsee. The lake is 8 km long and 1.25 km wide and has an average depth of 150 m.

At Echowand you can hear the echo of Konigsee. In earlier days boat captains would shoot off canons in the middle of the lake. The shot repeated 7 times. The captains now play a Flugelhorn or trumpet which you can hear echo once or twice depending on the weather.
